Hi! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving weekend! The weather was perfect for the Opening Night Ceremonies this past Saturday evening, attendance was high. Congratulations and thank you to all of the Territorial Governor candidates for raising over five thousand dollars for the Territorial Christmas Committee. The 2015 Territorial Governor is Betty Foster and Lieutenant Governor Dozer Knox! If you didn’t get a chance to attend, it’s worth the time to come and see the Christmas Lights on the Post Office lawn!  Read more…

Group of 35 legislators: Potential court ruling could overturn a decade of tax relief for Oklahomans

OKLAHOMA CITY– A group of 35 state legislators released an open letter Thursday voicing concerns about the possibility that many tax relief measures passed in Oklahoma over the past decade could be overturned, should the state Supreme Court rule that tax reductions must meet the guidelines of State Question 640. God’s Food Bank – feeding the hungry — a United Way partner

God’s Food Bank exists to help feed the hungry of Logan County. Carol Thorn, God’s Food Bank Director noted, “We have well over 600 families signed up for regular distribution of food and on an average week we will provide bags of food items to over 450 families.” Read more…
