Breaking: Guthrie Public Schools cancel classes due to winter weather for Friday. 

Multiple vehicle accident on I-35; semi rolled over

The northbound and southbound lanes are obstructed on I-35 following a five vehicle accident. 

Report of a semi-truck was traveling northbound has rolled after going through the cable barrier. 

Both northbound lanes have been shut down near mile marker 159, which is two miles north of Guthrie. 

The call was dispatched at 5:55 a.m. The Guthrie Fire Department and Logan Counry Sheriff’s Office are on the scene. 

There are no reports on injuries at this time.

A Guthrie man was arrested last week by the El Reno Police Department and is said to allegedly had an inappropriate social media relationship with a 13-year-old girl.

Deadline to request absentee ballots approaches

Registered voters in Logan County who want to vote by mail absentee ballot in Tuesday’s City of Guthrie and City of Crescent, Municipal Election have until this Wednesday at 5 p.m. to request one, County Election Board Secretary Erin Dorio said today.
