The final touches were being made all day on Wednesday as Guthrie’s new restaurant, Billy Sims Barbecue, prepares to open their doors on Friday.

Zeco Machine, Inc., located in Oak Hill Industrial Park on Seward Road just east of I-35, specializes in precision components for original equipment manufacturers. Started by Tony Ziegelgruber in the early 1980’s at a 4,000 square feet machine shop behind their house, the company has grown to 41,000 square feet, 40 skilled employees, and multiple CNC machines that provide a wide range of capabilities to meet their client’s needs in the oil and gas industries.

Update from Commissioner District 1

In 2006 the state legislature passed a law creating the County Improvements for Roads and Bridges (CIRB) program. The purpose for the program was to help counties in constructing or reconstructing high priority roads or bridges on the County Highway System.
