One of the aspects of local government that is so interesting is the variety.  Depending on the city, municipal government can provide services that range from public safety, infrastructure, parks and recreation, and many others.

Just hours after a home surveillance tape surfaced of one person looking to break into two vehicles, the Guthrie Police have arrested six people involved in a rash of recent car burglaries.

Guthrie police and fire close to making the switch

The final touches are being made at the Guthrie Police Department and Fire Department and soon they will be operating with upgraded technology.

Logan County District 2 Update: Continual Progress‏

Projects in District 2 continue to progress. The much anticipated asphalt job on Midwest between Simmons and Waterloo was completed June 19. The next phase of the 5 mile project is clearing trees from right-of-way on Forrest Hills (No Name) between Pine and Midwest, in
preparation to pave that mile.

A surveillance tape has surfaced of one person responsible for a recent rash of vehicle burglaries in the Guthrie area. Police suspect there could be more.
