Two early morning search warrants leads to four arrests

The Guthrie Police Department, along with deputies with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, served two early morning search warrants Saturday morning resulting in four people taken into custody. Law enforcement gathered information from an informant about suspects selling drugs from both residences.

At 5:56 a.m. the first search warrant was served at 222 ½ E. Springer Ave. resulting in the arrest of Darnelle Trivelle Thomas, 27, and Janae L. Ann Grossardt, 22.

Both suspects are in the Logan County Jail awaiting arraignment after being arrested for possession of controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute within 2,000 feet of a school or park, maintaining a dwelling for selling controlled dangerous substance (CDS), receiving and concealing or engaging proceeds from CDS and possession of paraphernalia.

In a second unrelated search warrant at 6:41 a.m., officers raided 1209 E. Springer Ave. and arrested Brian Darnell Haynes, 34, and Salenia Debra Durant, 28. Two children were inside the home and placed with a family member by the Department of Human Services.

Both suspects are in the Logan County Jail awaiting arraignment and both were arrested for possession of controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute within 2,000 feet of a school or park, possession of CDS in the presence of a child under 12, maintaining a dwelling for selling controlled dangerous substance (CDS), receiving and concealing or engaging proceeds from CDS and possession of paraphernalia.
