United Way Campaign reaches 90 percent of goal
Natalie Hardin, Logan County United Way Coordinator, announced recently that the campaign has reached 90 percent of its goal of $202,014.
“We are so grateful to the many companies and individuals which have contributed to the campaign. The contributions support the wonderful work of our 10 partner agencies which provide services and programs to people in need throughout our county. Your generosity is a blessing given to many,” Hardin said.
Steve Gentling, United Way President noted, “We also have another company to add to the “100% Club”. F&M Bank with its four locations in Logan County and almost 40 employees completed their campaign with 100 percent of the employees making a contribution to the United Way.”
When asked about the banks long history of supporting United Way, Jed Waggoner, F&M Bank Chairman of the Board, said “It starts at the very top with our Bank President, John V. Anderson, the giving attitude of our employees and of course the fact that all the money stays local to help local citizens. It is a winning combination!”
F&M joins Environmental Management, Inc, InterBank, Guthrie Vision Source, Logan County Community Services, City of Crescent and Gods Food Bank as organizations where 100% of their employees contributed to the United Way of Logan County.
The United Way of Logan County campaign continues through January 17. The United Way funds support specific programs in 10 partner agencies and last year those programs impacted approximately one out of every four citizens of Logan County.
