Tina Smedley to be seated on Board of Education

The Guthrie school district had only one applicant to fill out the proper paper work for the opening seat on the Board of Education.

Tina Smedley will take district seat No. 5 in March 2015.

The four-year term is currently held by Tom Holtz.

Smedley, a Guthrie High School alum, is married to Earl and has two children (Blaine and Kamber) and a grandchild.

Tina Smedley has been actively involved with the Guthrie school district for several years.
