Seth Robbins, with TIG, made a donation Tuesday morning to teachers Scott Mick and Jordan Hodge. The donation will help the cost for substitute teachers.

The first day of the expo has been designated as a School Day for students ranging from fourth grade to high school.

The three-day event (Sept. 26-28) for sporting enthusiasts is held at the Lazy E and attracts 50,000 people from across the region. The expo is presented by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation.

This event is a free, hands-on, interactive expo of exhibits, seminars, clinics, workshops and demonstrations centering on wildlife and outdoor activities. Visitors can fish, shoot, kayak, mountain bike, see and touch wildlife and learn about recreation in the great Oklahoma outdoors, among other things.

Explore the expo’s Outdoor Marketplace, a large tent and open-air area where vendors will be selling their hunting and fishing-related merchandise, services and memberships to outdoor organizations. The Outdoor Marketplace is certain to be a hit with expo visitors with 8,000 square feet of exhibit space and plenty of door prizes.

Admission is free to the public and will run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
