Parents and students signing up for school notifications from principal

Bookmark and Share

Guthrie High School Principal Chris LeGrande wants students and parents to stay up to date with important messages or reminders when it comes to school events, functions or scheduling information. Now, those reminders can be sent right to your phone.

Chris LeGrandeLeGrande will be operating Remind 101, a one-way broadcast system to push out notifications, for the 2014-15 school year. He says the free program will not only help students with reminders, but parents as well.

“This allows instant communication from my office to parents and students,” LeGrande said.

To join the group that has already grown to 500 contacts, text the code @2015gut to 720-924-4193 to be added to the list of contacts.

Standard text messaging rates do apply through your mobile carrier.
