OU alums celebrate evening at sports museum

Bookmark and Share

Athletes from years ago from the University of Oklahoma all came together for an evening of entertainment inside the Territorial Capital Sports Museum.

Sports MuseumIt was a packed banquet room of Sooners Thursday evening inside Guthrie’s sports museum with an estimated 125 alums and their family. The group enjoyed a cater dinner from none other than Billy Sims BBQ.

Afterwards, the Byron Berline Band took stage and entertained the crowd with their music. Berline, a former OU track athlete, had a few wise cracks about Texas that sent the room into laughter.

Director Richard Hendricks gave the history of the museum and what the museum has to offer for Oklahoma athletes.
