The Sheriff’s Office has installed computers in the sub-stations to enable deputies to meet with citizens in the communities and assist them with reports or other Sheriff’s Office operations.

“We are very excited about this new partnership moving forward with our overall goad of community policing. By keeping our deputies involved in these communities and interacting with the citizens we feel that we will be more able to identify problems before they become un-manageable or result in serious crimes,” Stephens added.

Stephens went on to say citizens continue to be involved in their community.

“The key to this partnership with the communities is the involvement of the citizens. They see everything in their neighborhoods and communities. We hope to be able to have open lines of communication with citizens and be able to impact the problems in their areas quickly and effectively before they escalate,” Stephens said.

Stephens concluded with giving thanks to Oklahoma State Bank and the Oak Cliff Fire Department for their contributions to public safety in Logan County.
