Suspicious package in front of City Hall given all clear

A package left in front of Guthrie’s City Hall was ruled suspicious causing the entire area to be evacuated and blocked off on Thursday evening. The Edmond Bomb Squad was dispatched and after investigating the package, the all clear was given. Read more…

Signal traffic lights at 33 and 35 corridor one step away

The City of Guthrie and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation are expected to agree on an annexing agreement that would bring two traffic signal lights to the busy Highway 33 and Interstate 35 corridor. Hello! Last Thursday Lucy and I went to an Oklahoma Road Show in Norman at the NCED Conference Center and Hotel. I was told it’s the largest hotel in Oklahoma. It is the training center for the Postal service nationwide.  We had another Road Show in Bartlesville on Tuesday at the Conoco Phillips in the Frank Phillips Tower where Lucy and Pam visited with over 600 people!
