JROTC Raiders team compete in San Antonio

The Guthrie JROTC Raiders team, led by GHS JROTC instructor Major Mick Fredrickson, traveled to San Antonio this weekend to compete in the National Raiders Championship.  The Bluejay Raiders competed in five events and finished 8th out of 17 teams overall which was an improvement of three spots from the previous year.

Investigation: Convenience store serial burglars captured

Two men have been arrested in connection of a burglary of a Logan County convenience store and now law enforcement believes they have strong evidence that connects them to prior burglaries.

Pollard Theater presents The Miracle Worker

Chamber Chat: Rotary Club schedules annual Spaghetti Feed

Guthrie Rotary Club has scheduled its annual Spaghetti Feed for Thursday, March 13th from 11:30 to 1:30 then from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the First United Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall located at 102 E. Noble. Adults $6 and children under 12 are $3. The Rotarians do great things for people!

Citizens for Quality Education looking to assist with school morale

A group of 20 people gathered Monday evening in downtown Guthrie to brainstorm and provide positive solutions for the problems and concerns that face the Guthrie Public School district.

Rainbow girls donate stuffed animals to police

During the outgoing ceremony of Worthy Advisor Mollie Swartzbaugh’s term, the Guthrie Rainbow girls donated 90 stuffed animals to Police Chief Damon Devereaux and the Guthrie Police Department.
