Bookmark and Share

LightsA delivery man was pronounced dead this afternoon in Coyle following a crash near the school’s bus barn.

The driver of a UPS truck was pronounced dead at the scene after his truck hit a pole on Cottingham Street.

The cause of the collision is unclear at this time. His identity has not been released.

A Coyle school teacher tells Guthrie News Page, “he would take the school packages to the school secretaries house if the school was closed. He was super!”

Several of his friends took to social media leaving their thoughts and prayers.

I pray it wasn’t my delivery man. He is super nice and we love to chat. Whoever it was, may God Bless and keep their family.

I sure wish someone would post the name of this driver and where he was based out of.

His name was Dustin Downs and he was from Oklahoma City. He had a big smile and an even bigger heart.
