Restaurant owner and operator Barry Cogburn talked with Guthrie News Page about his new adventure and is excited on the eating establishment.

“We are excited and I believe people will also be. It will be a family friendly restaurant.”

Cogburn went on to say the first day of business will be Wednesday, January 23.

The restaurant, located at Division and Industrial, is comparable to the popular Louie’s eating establishments.

The food and sport style will display several artifacts featuring the Guthrie BlueJays, Oklahoma Sooners, Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Not to be forgotten, but other memorabilia such as a cheerleading national championship jacket, a go-cart handing from the ceiling and a motorcycle hanging on the side of the wall. This article will keep it a secret, but Guthrie football fans will be greeted kindly when they take their first steps into the restaurant.

To compliment the memorabilia will be 16 high-definition televisions (1080i). Each television can be programmed to any of the available programs. Along with televisions, the sound system, of three stations, can also produce radio and internet feeds for local Guthrie events.

The menu will feature items such as: wraps, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas and a kids menu featuring five options. Majority of the pricing falls at $8.99 and under. View the Menu at Legends Food and Sport Menu.

Legends will offer a full bar area with a variety of imported, domestic and drafted beer, along with spirits, wines and mix drinks.

The operating hours will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday thru Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Cogburn said they will stay open past closing time if a marquee game goes beyond closing time.

Right now it seems like Expression Engine is the top blogging platform available right now.

(from what I’ve read) Is that what you are using on your blog?
