Speeding may be cause for roll over; male mediflighted

Highway 33 was shut down for several minutes after a one-vehicle accident. The driver may have been traveling as high as 110 mph.

A 20-year-old male, who was not identified at the scene, was mediflighted to a Oklahoma City shortly after 10 a.m. Monday.

Witnesses said they saw the blue, four-door car flip at least five times near Douglas Road.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is working the scene.

It is estimated the driver may have been going as fast as 105 to 110 mph.

GNP will have updates as they become available.

    unfortunately, bound to happen.. not sure where this is but can tell you that I think I’m the only one who drives the speed limit [65 mph] between the 33/74 junction [Valero station] and Guthrie city limits [past the golf course.. 45 mph].. ppl speed there ALL the time, riding my tail, and even pass me on a double yellow line.. the county could make a fortune if they set traps there.. hope the guy’s alright.. too young ;(

    yes and people should really slow down on the curves, even going the speed limit can be a little too fast on those curves. HOpe he is ok.

    PAST THE ACCIDENT THIS MORNING, ABOUT 2 MILES EAST OF GUTHRIE ON 33. PRAYING FOR HIM.
