Bookmark and Share

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office has received approval for a continuation of a grant from The Oklahoma Highway Safety Office.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office will work overtime hours to detect and apprehend impaired/intoxicated drivers. This grant will fund the pay of deputies working overtime for the purpose of ensuring that motorists in Logan County are in compliance with the state statute regarding operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants.

The desired results of this activity is to reduce the number of collisions and deaths related to driving while intoxicated.
