The Logan County Chapter American Red Cross has begun their swimming lessons, but it’s still not too late to sign up.

“They can start any day during the week so if they don’t start today it’s totally cool with us,” Executive Director Kara Walters said.

The sessions run Monday, July 11th, and run through Friday July 22nd. Two sessions will be held for the next two weeks. Classes are 12:00 to12:50 for advanced swimmers and 1:00 to 1:50 p.m. for beginner levels.

Classes are $25 per student and you can enroll at the Logan County Chapter, at 219 S. 2nd Street, or at the Highland Park Pool. It was speculated at one time lessons would be held at another location, but will be at the Highland Park Pool.

“If parents are uncertain about their childs swim level they can bring them to either session and we will test them but they can call our office 282-1194 for questions,” Walters concluded.
