The Logan County Fire Task Force took off for western Oklahoma early Thursday morning to help their fellow firefighters battle wild-fire.

Eagle City is a small rural community located on State Highway 58 in western Blaine County northwest of Watonga.

Along with the tankers and brush pumpers, Guthrie Fire Chief Eric Harlow made the trip.

The wildland fire started on Wednesday and has burned 1,200 plus acres covering six-plus square miles.
