A female was flown to OU Medical Center after a traffic accident Monday afternoon at the intersection of Waterloo Road and Highway 74.

Guthrie ambulance and rescue were dispatched to the scene at around 1:35 p.m. along with the Deer Creek Fire Department.

A one-ton crew cab pickup belonging to RDS Inc. appears to have run a stop sign while heading eastbound and striking a Toyota Corolla traveling northbound.

The female driver, whose name is unknown at this time, suffered multiple injuries at the scene, including possible internal bleeding. She was extricated from the vehicle by Deer Creek with the Jaws of Life.

The male driver of the pickup refused treatment at the scene.

RDS serves the Oklahoma City metropolitan area with dumpster rentals.
