Mercy Hospital Logan County Names Director of Nursing
GUTHRIE, Okla. – Kim Goldman, RN, has been named director of nursing at Mercy Hospital Logan County.
Goldman has been with Mercy for almost 16 years, serving most recently as nurse manager of a medical-surgical unit at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. She brings more than 20 years of nursing and nine years of leadership experience to her new role.
“We’re thrilled to have Kim on our Logan County team,” said Josh Tucker, administrator of Mercy Hospital Logan County. “I’m confident her diverse nursing experience and proven commitment to excellence will help us continue to provide the best care for our community.”
In addition to her medical surgery background, Kim has worked in air/ground ICU transport, EMS and in emergency medicine. She has contributed significantly to ongoing nurse education and to many process improvements that helped Mercy Health Center earn and maintain Magnet certification – the gold standard for nursing.
“It’s an honor to join the team of compassionate and highly skilled nurses at Mercy Hospital Logan County,” said Goldman. “Over the last several months, I’ve been blessed to spend time with them, getting to know them and learning about our department’s strengths and opportunities. I’m looking forward to serving our team of nurses at a director level. I want them to know they can depend on me.”
Goldman has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from The University of Oklahoma and a Master of Health Care Administration from The University of Phoenix.in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.
