Escape comes to Guthrie
If you are looking for an escape this weekend, you will not have to look very far to find one.
The Guthrie Escape will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 through Sunday, October 2, 2011 and will feature fine art, wine and music.
The event will be held in downtown Guthrie and will feature art demonstrations, interactive exhibits and a street dance on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Visitors can enjoy different types of artwork including oil, watercolor, acrylic, drawing, sculpture, fiber, photographer, pottery, glass, wood and jewelry.
Stop by and relax with a glass of wine from local wineries.
Saturday’s events will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday’s events will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
