Sale of hospital means lower sales taxes

With the sale of Logan Medical Center to Mercy Health System of Oklahoma, residents of Guthrie and Logan County will soon see the sales tax lowered. However, the timing of that has yet to be determined.

DPS shows decrease in traffic fatalities

Department of Public Safety officials report a decrease in traffic fatalities for the month of July 2011.  Fatalities were down by eighteen in July with a total of 62 compared to 80 in the same month last year.

Oklahoma City police found a 75-year-old Logan County man that went missing early Tuesday morning and a Silver Alert was issued.

OG&E customers expected to get refunds

Guthrie customers who have service with Oklahoma Gas & Electric, along with other OG&E customers, should be seeing a credit on their bills next month following an order by the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.
